I just saw the Sight and
Sound production of Queen Esther last week. Wow! The sets were so real and
beautiful beyond words. The acting was of a professional caliber. It was
breathtaking. There was so much to see that it was hard to look everywhere at
once in order to take it all in. I was so glad I saw it before it’s gone. But,
they tape the productions now and I was able to buy a DVD of it before we left.
Of course, that will NEVER compare to actually being there.
But the main thing that I got
out of it was how much that story in the Bible compares so closely to what’s
happening in our world right now. I was in tears (and so was my hubby) at the
end, with feelings of awe at how incredibly God uses circumstances in everyday
life to further His purposes and His kingdom.
But one thing that most
people don’t look at in this story is how the King surrounded himself with
advisors that were only trying to make the King ‘happy’. They were afraid to
tell him truths about anything, fearing for their own lives or their jobs.
Many people today either don’t
‘want’ to know the truth about what’s going on, are afraid to know the truth or
are on the wrong side… there can’t be many more reasons, outside of not caring
at all, and I for one, think that’s the worse reason of all.
This country was born with
the blood of many, many people. They put their lives, their families, their
jobs, their comforts, their tax exempt status… everything on hold and on the
line to fight for a free country and freedom from a country that was taxing
them to death.
That was nothing compared to
what we’re in the middle of. We’re in
the middle of keeping those
freedoms, stopping communism from overtaking our democracy, having everything we
own taken away from us, being exterminated by people who think they are going
to run the world with a one world government, one world monetary system (“you
won’t own anything, but you’ll be happy” - Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the
World Economic Forum, International
Organization for Public-Private Cooperation, stated), and a one
world religion (trust me, it won’t be Christianity).
Also, I wouldn’t trust
Reuters Fact Check anymore. They tried to denounce the fact that Schwab didn’t
have a quote about depopulation, but there’s a picture of one of the pages of
his book Covid-19: The Great Reset, that says:
(“At least 4 billion ‘useless eaters’ shall be eliminated by the year
2050 by means of limited wars, organized epidemics of fatal rapid-acting
diseases and starvation. Energy,
food and water shall be kept at subsistence levels for the non-elite, starting
with the white populations of Western Europe and North America and then
spreading to other races. The population of Canada, Western Europe and the U.S.
will be decimated more rapidly than on other continents, until the world’s
population reaches a manageable level of 1 billion, of which 500 million will
consist of Chinese and Israelite races selected because…..) READ it yourself if
you’ve got the stomach.
Oh yes, Revelation does say that this does happen. And it will. But, the
time is not yet. We were supposed to have 4 more years of decent government in
this country, but most Christians probably voted for Biden and the rest will
shortly be historical (the stolen election of 2020). But, we also know the end of the story. God
wins! PTL! Satan and his equally insane
cohorts, who’ve committed horrendous acts against humanity, actually think they
can live transhumanly for eternity. But God will not allow that either. It’s
not His plan. These bodies were never meant to live forever and they won’t.
Queen Esther got to be queen by being forced to leave her present family
and surroundings, groomed to be the most beautiful she could be, even though
her beauty is what got her taken in the first place, chosen to be queen, but
only by hiding the fact that she was Jewish and then being in the position (for
such a time as this) to save the entire Jewish population of that day in the
Persian Empire. Wow!
How many of us would be willing to put our lives on the line after being
pampered and in a position to influence the leader of that day? We don’t even
face those choices in this day and age. Some lost jobs from not taking “the jab”,
but they made it possible to protect our freedom to choose what medical things
will be done to their bodies. Some are
ridiculed for what truths they’re putting out there, but they’re trying to get
it out anyway and believing that ‘some’ will listen and their eyes will be
opened, so the truth can set them free.
Esther took that chance! Her life was at stake because Haman, who hated
her uncle Mordecai, was planning to have all the Jews murdered, extinguished, annihilated.
King Xerxes didn’t know she was a Jew… he just signed an edict to have them all
killed, due to false information from his highest and most trusted advisor,
Haman.
BUT… Esther asked Mordecai to have all Jews fast and pray for 3 days, as
she would do also, and then she went to King Xerxes, without an invitation by
him, which, if he didn’t accept her visit, would have been her death sentence.
And then - God did the impossible.
The King accepted her visit, attended her dinners, along with Haman
there. After the 2nd dinner, she told the King what she wanted and
what Haman was planning and who she really was… she was there for “such a time
as then”.
King Xerxes not only believed her, but everything Haman planned for
Mordecai, was done to him. It all resulted in the Jews being given permission
to fight back and save themselves, ‘cause Xerxes couldn’t go back on his edict,
Haman being impaled on the very pole he had mounted in the town square for
Mordecai, Mordecai being given Haman’s job and Esther and the King growing
closer as a couple and the Persian Empire having years of peaceful coexistence.
God uses us for many reasons. All that’s been happening has not been
good in this country, but it’s revealed many other things that needed to come
out. How it all ends, is up to us, and if we trust, done according to God’s
plans and purposes, which ALWAYS happens anyway, one way or another. God’s plans
WILL be carried out, whether we help him or not, but our individual choices
determines whose we are and where we will be when our lives ends here.
What’s in your
wallet? Who’s your daddy? God made this world and God can take it out..
but ONLY Him. No nutcase spiritual
being is going to ‘get one over’ on the Creator of the Universe. It’s too well planned by the Master Potter.
